The following Terms and Conditions is a legally binding document between Smaller Website Services (Pty) Ltd (“Service Provider”, “We”) and You (“the Client”).
By signing up to our services, you agree to our Terms and Conditions below:
Payment Terms and Renewal
Our WordPress Management service is a month-to-month subscription and works on a pre-pay basis, and our service will be valid for that pre-paid month or annual period. Payments are facilitated through Payfast via monthly debit orders.
By signing up to our WordPress Management Service, the Client agrees to pay the Service Provider the monthly or annual fees as stipulated on the invoice.
In the event of any non-payment, a 5 day grace period will be provided to the Client. After this period the Service Provider reserves the right to terminate or suspend the Client’s service.
Payments are not refundable.
Service Termination
The Client may cancel their WordPress Management Package at any time. Notification of termination must be sent via email to hello@smaller.co.za
The Client should ensure that cancellation occurs before their next anniversary billing date.
Once the Client’s Website Management Package has been cancelled, the Service Provider will terminate and disconnect all its tools and services connected to the Client’s website.
The Client’s WordPress website will still continue operating, but the services described in the WordPress Management Package will no longer be available.
The Service Provider may also terminate the Client’s WordPress Website Management Package by providing 30 days notice via email.
Support Hours and Resolutions Times
Our support hours are from Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 16:00 pm.
Support requests sent after 16:00 during weekdays will be resolved the following business day.
Support requests sent during public holidays or on weekends will be resolved on the following business day.
Minor support requests (Website Edits) can be resolved within 1 business working day, whereas larger support requests can take up to 3 business working days.
WordPress Management Service Overview
Our service is provided to ensure the Client’s WordPress website’s plugins, themes and core is kept up to date and running optimally. Various optimisation services are also available across our different plans that enhance or improve the functionality or performance of the Client’s WordPress website.
We also provide WordPress website editing, or change requests in the form of Website Edits to the Client.
Website edits include changing or updating content, website structure, pages, WordPress core and plugins. Website edits do not include building a new website, creating content, or custom development.
We can only provide maintenance, support and updates to WordPress themes, plugins and core that come from their respective developers. If the developers do not release updates, or if the themes, plugins or core is abandoned, then an alternative will need to be provided to the Client at the Client’s cost.
Our service is only available to standard WordPress website’s and not custom developed, or WooCommerce (e-commerce) or membership type WordPress Websites.
Trademarks and Copyrighted Material
The Client ensures that all material is free of copyright or trademark infringements. The Service Provider will not be held liable or responsible for any legal action regarding copyright infringement.
Warranties, Guarantees and Liabilities
The Service Provider makes no representation, warranty or guarantees of any nature or kind to any of its services. The Service Provider will not be liable, or responsible for any damages that may be suffered by the Client, including loss of data, website downtime, or business interruption or loss of profits from delays, or service interruptions.
